If connected to WiFi, the Teforia machine automatically securely connects every 24 hours to the Teforia Cloud for any tea data update (new tea, recipe, etc.) and for firmware updates. 

In case of a new firmware update, the Teforia machine will then automatically download and install the new firmware.
